Third Age Learning Niagara Board of Directors are aware of recommendations made for group events regarding slowing the spread of the COVID 19 virus. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our attendees, community and our board members. The Public Health Agency of Canada indicated that Canada remains a safe destination and the risk of contagion to the country remains low.
With that, in the interest of public health and excellence in our learning series, we are taking action to ensure your continued safety during this time of uncertainty. Following the recommendations of Public Health Agency of Canada, Third Age Learning Niagara is cancelling the March Learning Series.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate this situation and will provide further updates soon.
Stay healthy and safe.

Third Age Learning Niagara Board of Directors.

Third Age Learning Niagara in partnership with Meridian Community Center is pleased to announce first learning series of 2020 with Diversity in Niagara: Exploring Equity and Inclusion. Taking place each Thursday morning in March at the Pelham Meridian Community Center, this series is planned with expert guest speakers who are sure to pique your curiosity once again. With our last two series selling out well before the events and limited tickets available, be sure to register quickly! Details regarding the series will be posted soon!

If we value diversity in Niagara, do we, as individuals, understand, appreciate and practice the principles of inclusive communities?

Our March Learning Series will provide opportunities to explore diversity and gain deeper insights regarding what it means to be inclusive.  Integrating research-based knowledge, meaningful discussions, and experiential learning tools, this learning series will provoke learning and questions and invite participants to think about and gain a deeper appreciation of diversity, equity and inclusion.
